Is your kitchen as clean as you think it is? I used to think so, but it turns out that it was not. I'm sure we all clean the basic elements: stove, counter tops, the outside of the oven (the inside if you're feeling adventurous), tables, microwave, and sink. Sounds like a lot right? Well, how would you feel if I told you that there was even more that you have to do...
I will now give you a detailed list of everything that you need to clean in your kitchen for it to be super clean. Ready?
-your ceilings must be dusted! I mean corners, cobwebs, noticeable dust and cobwebs on walls
-your stove: if yours has one, the top of the stove that houses the fan, must be wiped down. That layer of dust contains grease, dirt, oil, food particles, and bacteria
-your stove top and the back panel that holds the knobs for the eyes, if you have one
-the front and sides of your stove
-the counter tops; this includes the back splash and the front edge of the counters
-the refrigerator; also including the front and the sides
-the microwave; the inside, turntable, outside and sides
-the inside, sides, faucet and faucet handles of the sink
-front of dishwasher, and the inside if needed (I can't remember the last time I cleaned the inside of my dishwasher)
-sweep and mop your floors- by hand if you want to be really awesome.
It doesn't sound like a lot until you actually have to do all of that. It can take a while, depending on the size and cleanliness of your house. But if you want to walk in and think you are in the cleanest room you have ever stepped into, then hit every mark on that list and there ya go.
